PS5 Slim Black Screen After HDMI Port Replacement
A genuine workshop repair where the HDMI port was not the final cause. Further diagnosis identified a failing Realtek RTD2175P HDMI decoder after the console repeatedly lost its display connection once warm.
Disc Drive SATA Connector Ripped Off During DIY Thermal Paste Service
A routine home clean and thermal paste replacement became a board-level repair after the optical-drive SATA connector was torn from the motherboard, damaging pads and traces and breaking communication with the paired disc drive.
